Portrait einer Hundemami
Es gibt Leute, die spielen Gitarre und andere üben sich im Shoppen. Und es gibt Lisa L. mit einem mal wirklich außergewöhnlichen Hobby. Die 19jährige mit dem Wunschberuf Hundetrainerin übt sich schon seit drei Jahren als „Tiermami“.

Nachdem sie ihre Matura absolviert hat, kann Lisa L. sich nun endlich ihrer Leidenschaft hingeben, dem Aufziehen und Pflegen von Tieren. Erst kürzlich nahm sie den goldigen Mischlingswelpen Luna für ein paar Wochen bei sich auf und bewies sich als ausgezeichnete Erzieherin. Die vermittelte Familie wird lang an ihrem Cockerspaniel-Golden Retriever-Mischling Freude haben, denn die Kleine ist stubenrein und mit den Basics der Hundeerziehung ausgestattet. Wie Lisa das macht? Langjährige Erfahrung mit teilweise schwierigen Hunden macht‘s möglich.

Mit zarten sechzehn Jahren entdeckt die damals fünffache Katzenbesitzerin ihr Hobby. Regelmäßig ging sie ins Tierheim, um sich stundenlang mit den Vierbeinern dort zu beschäftigen. Die teilweise stark vernachlässigten Hundeseelen schlossen das Mädchen natürlich ins Herz, dankbar für ihre Zeit. Auch gelegentliche Bisswunden und zerrende Leinen hielten sie nicht von den regelmäßigen Spaziergängen ab. Lisa hatte ihre Leidenschaft gefunden. Und eignete sich noch dazu einen Haufen an wertvollem Wissen an, was die Erziehung eines Tieres angeht. Dieses Wissen hat ihr ihre momentane Lieblingsbeschäftigung ermöglicht. Das Tierheim schenkt ihr mittlerweile so viel Vertrauen, dass sie kleine Vierbeiner bei sich aufnehmen darf, um sie dann an neue Besitzer zu vermitteln. Momentan wohnen drei kleine entzückende Kätzchen und ein noch etwas unsicher tapsendes Staffordshire–Terrier-Mix-Baby bei ihr. „Paul ist einfach etwas ganz Besonderes! Er braucht noch viel Nähe, ist gleichzeitig aber schon relativ autonom. Er ist verspielt und frech, aber wenn er mich mit seinen kleinen schwarzen Kulleraugen anschaut, kann man ihm auf gar keinen Fall böse sein!“sagt sie.

Wie ist sie auf dieses Hobby gekommen?

„Als ich 7 Jahre alt wurde, bereicherte eine 7 Jahre alte Schäfer-Mischlingshündin aus der Arche Noah (Tierheim in Graz, Anm. d. Redaktion) unsere Familie. Je älter ich wurde, desto klarer wurde für mich, dass Hunde etwas ganz Besonderes für mich sind. 3 Wochen nach meinem 16. Geburtstag habe ich angefangen, mit Hunden aus der Arche spazieren zu gehen und seitdem, egal welches Wetter und egal wie viel Stress, bin ich dabei geblieben!“

Was sind die Schwierigkeiten und schönen Momente dieser Beschäftigung?

„Natürlich freue ich mich für jeden Hund, der in der Arche vergeben werden kann, aber es ist immer schwer, sich von einem Hund zu verabschieden, nachdem man viel Zeit mit ihm verbracht hat. Und nachdem ich auch viel mit den Hunden, mit denen ich spazieren gehe, arbeite, sind sicherlich die schönsten Momente diejenigen, wenn ich merke, dass ich bei meinen Hunden einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen habe, beziehungsweise wenn meine Arbeit mit ihnen „fruchtet“.“

Und wie stellt sich die Tierfreundin die Zukunft vor?

„Ich möchte so schnell wie möglich eine Ausbildung zur Hundetrainerin anfangen und mein Hobby endlich zum Beruf machen!“

Auch ihr Liebesglück hat Lisa L. durch die regelmäßigen Spaziergänge gefunden. Ihr Freund Markus und sie lernten sich beim gemeinsamen Spazierengehen richtig kennen. Das gemeinsame Hobby und der Sinn für die wohltätige Arbeit haben die beiden zu einem Paar gemacht. Seit mehr als 18 Monaten sind die beiden unzertrennlich. Bei Lisas Ambitionen unterstützt ihr Freund sie natürlich und hilft ihr beim Umsorgen ihrer Schützlinge.

Derzeit hofft Lisa auf eine Stelle zur Ausbildung zur professionellen Hundetrainerin. Sie möchte so viel wie möglich über ihre Lieblinge lernen und weiß, dass ihre jetzige Position im Leben als Hundetrainerin gerade einmal der Anfang einer langen Reise ist.

Auch Lust bekommen, einem Vierbeiner eine kleine Freude zu bereiten? Erkundigen Sie sich einfach über die Tierheime in Ihrer Umgebung, meistens werden Spaziergehwillige mit Freuden empfangen. Der Hund ist schließlich den ganzen Tag eingesperrt und freut sich über menschliche Zuwendung. Vielleicht verlieben Sie sich auch in ein Paar Hundeaugen und Sie finden einen neuen vierbeinigen Freund. Die Arche Noah in Graz ist eine sehr beliebte Kontaktstelle für Spaziergänger, einfach Montag bis Freitag von 9 bis 11.30 Uhr und von 14 bis 17 Uhr, Samstag, Sonntag und an Feiertagen von 9 bis 12 Uhr vorbeischauen, sich einen Hund aussuchen und ihm einen unvergesslichen Spaziergang schenken. Na dann, Wuff Wuff!
